I don’t really like to get political here, so I’ll try to leave that part out, but I’ve decided to Give Yishai Fleisher’s 40 Days 4 Israel: Caleb’s Challenge a go. I’m not too concerned about my ability to do this, as I’m a pretty big supporter of Israel, and not living there has allowed me to romanticize it enough that I probably don’t complain about the place to begin with.
That being said, I’m generally a pretty negative person. I complain a lot. A LOT. So, Yishai’s challenge got me to thinking on a much broader scale: is it possible for me to make it 40 days without complaining about anything? Or, at the very least, make it 40 day while focusing on a positive outlook? I’m going to give it a try.
Caleb’s challenge is the bigger deal here, and I definitely don’t want to let my narcissism get in the way of a grander cause, so click on the link above and check it out. That being said, I do think an overall positive attitude combined with love and support for Israel can get us all moving in the right direction.
